The Early-Stage Demonstration Call, delivered under Innovate BC’s Integrated Marketplace (IM) program, supports the advancement of made-in-B.C. technologies from proof-of-concept to market readiness. The call enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to validate their innovations through pilot-scale demonstrations in collaboration with adopter organizations that provide real-world testing environments.
Through this call, Innovate BC will provide funding support of up to 40% of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $500,000 per project, for initiatives that generate measurable performance data, demonstrate commercial potential, and build customer confidence. Projects are expected to run 12 months and deliver outcomes such as improved productivity, reduced emissions, enhanced health and safety, and other benefits aligned with B.C.’s economic and sustainability priorities.
This initiative is funded by the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Jobs and Economic Growth (JEG) and administered by Innovate BC as part of the Integrated Marketplace suite of programs designed to accelerate the commercialization and adoption of B.C. innovation.
